Andaz London on Liverpool Street is a 5 star luxury boutique hotel set right in the heart of East London. Housed in a magnificent redbrick Victorian building designed by the same architects of House of Parliament. In 1884 the building opened its doors as an original London railway hotel.
Welcome to the Andaz London
Upon arrival we were welcomed by the hotel’s professional Reception staff. The check-in process is very personal and relaxing. As we had arrived earlier than the usual check-in time we were assisted with leaving our luggage at the hotel and headed out to meet our friends. 
When we returned our check-in process was completed by Mr Ali who asked us what time we would like to check out the following day and had given us the opportunity to extend our stay a few hours longer. This already set the right tone for a great welcome.
The lobby area is rather fascinating. Various food quotes decorate the mirrors of the lobby. As Ali explained this was part of a Food Festival that took place at the hotel.
Deluxe Accommodation: Andaz Large King Street Art Room
The hotel features 267 guest rooms including 14 suites. We stayed at a Deluxe room the Andaz Large King Street Art Room. Selective guest rooms are decorated with impressive Street Art. The room was very spacious, 33 square meters with a separate sitting area and a large working desk.
The eco-friendly bathroom has a separate bathtub and a shower cabin and is characterized by white brick tiling. For those who follow my hotel adventures know that I am especially fond of hotel slippers and bathrobes. 
I have to say that Andaz has the best slippers I have seen so far. So fluffy and soft, just perfect!
The Yukata bathrobes were equally fantastic. All the amenities are from the local perfumer T London.
The room comes with complimentary amenities such as free Wi-Fi, minibar which is replenished daily with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, unlimited local calls and access to Health Club and steam room. 
In the evening once we returned from dinner we found a bottle of red wine and a platter of festive macarons and chocolates in our room. What a pleasant surprise!
The Andaz Breakfast
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at Andaz London they really take their breakfast seriously. Served in a spacious, high ceiling beautiful dining room 1901, the breakfast experience is truly amazing.
Apart from the rich breakfast buffet which has everything from yogurts, cold cuts, fruits, cereals, a fine selection of baked goods, warm dishes and fresh juices, there is also an additional menu which you can order the eggs of your choice as well as pancakes. I tried the Eggs Royal among the other items available from the buffet.
The choice was fantastic and the service exceptional.
Excellent Location near Shoreditch
One of the highlights of Andaz London Liverpool Street is its prime location. Just off the corner from the main Liverpool Station the hotel is located at a close proximity from the historical sites of St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London and Tower Bridge which are all at a walking distance.
The Shard is also not too far from the hotel, approximately a 20 minute walk.
Make sure to visit the Spitalfields Market which is a walking distance from the hotel. Famous for its bohemian atmosphere the place is full of stalls selling clothes, jewelry and other goods. There are plenty of food stalls and restaurants inside the market. It get’s quite busy on Sundays.
Shoreditch which is one of the most vibrant areas in East London is located very close to the hotel. Here you will find the BOXPARK which is a shopping complex made of shipping containers used for restaurants and pop-up stores.
If you are looking for a luxury accommodation in East London, the Andaz London Liverpool Street is a great choice. Refined service, comfortable and spacious accommodation and superb location.
