100 Rizes Seaside Resort: A Luxury Seaside Escape in Mani, Peloponnese
The resort gets its name from the 100 olive groves that dot the surrounding landscape, the word rizes translates as roots, and is very fitting for this fine boutique hotel. It is worth mentioning that the architectural design is highlighted by the traditional tower-houses of Mani which harmoniously blend with the rugged landscape.
The resort’s 30 rooms and suites are housed in four stone buildings overlooking the Laconian Gulf. The overall ambience of the resort reflects the unique landscape of this undiscovered part of the Peloponnese.
My Stay at 100 Rizes Seaside Resort
Accommodation at 100 Rizes Seaside Resort ranges from deluxe double rooms with sea view to Junior Suites, One Bedroom Suites and Honeymoon Suites for special occasions.
We stayed at a One-Bedroom Suite with a Private Garden overlooking the sea. The spacious (40-50 sq.m.) elegantly designed suite features a separate bedroom with a fantastic Coco-mat bed, a living room area with a cozy sitting corner, fireplace, work-desk, table with chairs and a kitchenette. The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower.
The One-Bedroom Suites are located on the ground floor and have a direct access to a small private garden with sun-loungers. This type of accommodation is ideal for couple or families traveling with children.
Room amenities include a coffee corner with tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, two plasma TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room area, beach and pool towels, slippers and bathrobes.

Due to the recent health and safety regulations, breakfast was conveniently served in our suite. We had to place the order at the Reception on the night before and had everything delivered in special packing the following morning.
Facilities and Services
The resort features a beautiful laid-back pool and a small private beach shaded by olive trees.
We especially loved the quaint relaxation area with sun-loungers spread out in the gardens amidst the olive groves – the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing afternoon getting lost in the pages of a great book.
Wining and Dining
The resort’s main Lupino restaurant features an indoor and an outdoor area, where guests can enjoy a fabulous dining experience under the starry Maniot sky. The peaceful area surrounding the resort, means that there aren’t too many lights interfering with the overall setting – gifting you with the purest pleasure of enjoying the remarkable silence.
A truly wonderful experience for all the senses. The Mediterranean menu showcases the region’s bounty — presenting the finest local ingredients and flavors. The Chef and his team have prepared a fine selection of dishes that highlight the unique traditions of the Mani peninsula.
After a busy day exploring the dramatic coastline of Mani we enjoyed the inviting ambience while sipping cocktails under the moonlight. A priceless experience, indeed.
Location
The 100 Rizes Seaside Resort is located on a private cove overlooking the Kamares beach, just 3 kilometers from the historical village of Skoutari. Mani’s capital Aeropoli is located 20 km from the resort, approximately a 25 minute drive. In the direction towards the East you will find the coastal town of Gytheio, surrounded by beautiful beaches.

How to Get to 100 Rizes Seaside Resort
The nearest airport is the Kalamata International Airport which is 144km from the resort, the drive is just under two hours.
Alternatively guests can arrive at the Athens International Airport and take the opportunity to explore the Mani region and the rest of the Peloponnese by car. The distance from Athens is approximately three hours driving.
