Wow another year is coming to an end, and I always feel that it is a great opportunity to reflect and to set new goals for the New Year. Thinking of my 2015 Highlights, I feel happy about all the events that took place in 2015, and I must say it has been one of the best years yet. It doesn’t mean that every day is a bed of roses, but what I have learned in my journey so far is that by working hard and sticking to your goals will bring you to where you want to be. Stay focused is my new motto. Here is a rundown to some of the greatest accomplishments in 2015:
On January 2015, one of the most important projects hit off, Travel Bloggers Greece was launched. The event took place at Grecotel Pallas Athena, followed by a limo ride to the Acropolis with Sattas Group.
I then boarded my first flight of the year and travelled to Tallinn, Estonia for business. This was my first visit to Estonia.
Then came a trip to Vilnius, Lithuania and Riga, Latvia where I was visiting for the first time.
In April TBG was invited for it’s first bloggers trip to Montanema Handmade Village in Limni Plastiras, Karditsa.
In May my business partner and friend Marissa Tejada of www.travelgreecetraveleurope.com were invited to the island of Kea to explore the island.
In June I travelled to Santorini for the first time with a private Lear Jet 35 with Air Business International
Next destination on the list was Zakynthos were we were invited for a bloggers trip with Travel Bloggers Greece and our host Zantehotels4u
Summer was pretty busy travelling back and forth to Crete during the months of July and August. I visited the Boutari Winery and had the experience of spending a night at the exquisite Scalani Hills, Boutari Winery and Residences which you can read about here.
In the beginning of September my Cretan adventures were over and I returned to Athens. The highlight of the year was travelling to Bangkok, Thailand in October to attend the first TBEX Asia conference. I then spent four days in Koh Samui! This was one of the best trips of my life.
The end of the year was quite busy with many happenings and events in Athens. It was definitely a year with many first time experiences which I am extremely grateful for!
Happy New Year everyone! Thank you for reading and following my travels. Let’s bring on 2016!
