Turning 22 in London, the city where the tradition was born
Looking through some old photos, as I have entered my birthday month which is October, I realised that this year will mark a decade of my tradition to celebrate my birthday around the world. It all started back in 2005 when I took my trip to London, to visit my best friend Agra who was studying there at the moment. She had organised my Birthday party at her house and we had a few of our high school friends attend as most were still in College those days, studying in London. This is when I got the birthday travel bug, a tradition that for personal reasons, I keep very close to my heart.
